Directions: 15 minutes from Victoria, heading north on Hwy 1 to Millstream exit. Stay right going towards Highlands sign on left side.

Unveiled in 2003, Bear Mountain is an 18-hole golf course, the first ever to be co-designed by Jack and Steve Nicklaus. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Victoria, Bear Mountain combines the mastery of a Nicklaus course with a series of panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the Garden City and the mountains. The course is open for public play.

Hole 7 looks harder than it actually is–don’t be fooled by the large sand trap in front of the green, it’s intimidating because you are shooting over a large canyon.
